Painting Crannogman (Game of thrones)

I bought a box of Crannogman to go with my Stark force. These are really well made plastic miniatures. All assembled. All that is needed is to remove the mould lines.

I used Vallejo browns (Mahogany (846), leather brown (871) for the uniform, beige brown (875) for the arrow, wood Grain (828) for the bow, red leather (818) for the belts. Olive Green (894) for the cap. and Grey Green (866) for the pants. I then used the appropriate Citadel shade to apply a wash on the entire miniature.

I always have trouble with the eye. Painted white then black, then went over with medium flesh.

This is the results.

Some close up of each of the types.

I also painted the Crannogman Warden.

These are the stats of the Unit and the Warden

Should be a fun Unit to play.

Painting Flankpanzer IV Wirbelwind (Bolt Action)

I picked up a Flankpanzer IV Wirbelwind miniature at the Multizone in Gatineau. They actually had lots of Bolt Action stuff.

I started by priming using a mat black spray can from home depot.

Then, I used my air spray gun to paint using Dark Yellow (XF-60) Tamiya, then used it for the Flat Brown (XF10), then NATO Green XF-67. I then used a little Buff XF-57 to add some weathering. I painted the tracks and guns with Gun metal. (XF-10).

I also used a little black XF-1 for some scratches and added rust using Vallejo model wash for rust effects (75.507).

Before adding the decals I gave it a gloss finish. Then added the decals, then gave it a mat finish.

About 3 hours of work. This is the result.
